E66 keypad strange problem - GSM-Forum

e66 is giving strange keypad problem.....when i press any key another key will work with the first key means when i press 1 then 1 and 3 come on the screen 2 is ok.if i press 4 then 4 and 5 appear 6 is ok.when i press 8 it appear 8 and 9 and 7 is ok........plz suggest me to solve this problem.

NOTE= THE UPPER KEYS ARE WORKING FINE ONLY LOWER IS PROBLEM.

change the sim and mmc soket completly, it wil work fine
tested by me 100%

what sim ic and mmc!!!??

im sure before its water dameged just change keypad ic and check all parts according to keypad connection theres a shorted there but all i repair done same your problem is keypad ic only

Check side volume key. Sometimes are locked pressed one from this keys.

check the small flex cabel between moterboard an sim reader , or change all(sim reader with mmc soket)

dear sim & mmc assmbly conected with side volume switch ok............
