Just cleaning of all the connectors and the SIM card itself is enough.

What makes U thinks that it is a brocken line , I think it could be the ESD filter ( R388 ), if there is no taruma or direct cause of dammage U know.

Lets start with the SIM reader pins , check continuety of each of them to C381,382,and 383,as at the picture.

If every thing is allright try to reflow or change R388. This problem will not be more than those points.

@ Kriza

As you have to press the phone to read SIM means dry solder or open pins. Use good flux and properly reheat the area near SIM pads and components related to it. things should be OK.

Good luck.....

regards.

@ kriza

SIM voltages are coming from CCONT as VSIM. Resolder/Rehot CCONT. Pin # 3 and 5 of SIM pads will have have voltage peeks after powering ON the phone. Check it. If still have the problem. Replace CCONT. If still have the problem, SIM digital lines are coming from MAD and it can not be repaired.

Good luck....

regards.
