Nokia 1600 & 1110 Insert sim Prolblems (Urgent) - GSM-Forum

Hi I am having problems solving problems of Insert sim on the above mentioned phones, anyone with any solution please help will be appreciated.

Hi,
What are You saying?Did You clean the contacts,changed IC SIM,checked with another battery and the problem is the same?

This is a common problem if 1600,1110,1112,2310,2610, are damaged by water. Just cleaning solves this problem.

Yes, of course if mainboard isn't total destroyed...

generally the liquid damage set the sim ic fuse very fast it must be a sim driver ic fault change it

Hi there,in many cases the problem is not solved only by cleaning the PCB if the phone was damaged by water.In 90% of cases the IC SIM was damaged or battery was damaged in some cases.
