Hello guys,

I just saw this very useful unlock steps, and I would share it with everybody!

Special thanks to hackgsm!

How to unlock SAMSUNG i9000 GALAXY?

Steps:

- download patch file from z3x server.(I9000_XXJPK_modem_patched)

- 1st write patch file in phone area (select patch file as it is in ".tar" file dont extract it )

- Turn the phone off and than put it on (Download mode)

(Press and hold Volume Down + Home + Power Button)

- Than press update firmware
- After flash turn on phone and turn on usb debugging (setting -> development -> usb debugging)
- Finally click unlock sp
- Wait than u can see net code

Hi,

My phone is totally dead while new software updating so its not going to downloading mode and also not getting turn on...
Can you help me for that ???

once i downloaded the modem patch from the z3x site ,i then patched the phone ,but the phone would not go into the download mode ,so i used the special cable which puts it into download mode ,the phone would not except the patch ,but then the phone would not boot,even tried to flash the phone .Had to send the phone away for boot repair.The only thing i can think may have caused this ,was the customer updated his phone with the latest version from the samsung web site.

Should of just used riff box to jtag it ( that would of got it working again )
