iPhone 3Gs show: "Charging is not supported with this accessory" on screen - GSM-Forum

hi all! my iphone show this message on screen: "Charging is not supported with this accessories", but phone still make call, wifi ok, charge with usb or dock ok, all are ok...but i dont know reason why phone shows that message on screen...how could i remove this message? plz any solution?

maybe water .
try to plug in and out head set jack, clean charger connect with alcohol

thanks bro...i had done but no better...maybe my guest uses the iphone with carkit so it take to this problem???

hi my friend
i think if u have try to connect to car kit i think
its not work with your phone so make this problem
soo try to restore your phone
if its work that fine if not try to clean charge connecter
and post reply

thanks for replying all bro. but my phone's working well, phone still charges ok...still make call well. and test wifi well.but when i unplug cable on phone's screen will show me that messages...i try to restore but the same problem

Try to use another original charger and it'll be fine

if still get that messages after you done all above,
open iPhone take out the board off battery , wait some minutes, put it back then plug in charger,
hope it okie
with me your phone dirty or moisture, try to clean on charger connector ( I fix this so many times for my customer 0

I had the same problem. Solved by replacing charging connector with flex.

Hi, my friend! Please test this method:

1. go to and download http://www.huanix.com/iapd (direct download)

2. Use iPhoneExplorer or SSH to iphone and navigate to this /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/IAP.framework/Support/

3. copi the iapd in Support,reboot and you have the sound

OR

terminal or putty to iphone and taip this

hit enter after each line)

cd /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/IAP.framework/Support/

mv iapd iapd.broken

wget http://www.huanix.com/iapd

chmod 755 iapd

chown root:wheel iapd

exit

exit

I tested 2 iPhones 3g and it work fine.

Don't 4get say thanks
