| Tethered mode is when you have to use Redsnow to boot the iphone in jailbreak mode. You have to use whenever you boot your iphone. It ***** when you are not home and battery died or your phone stuck and reboot itself then you wont be able to use the jailbreak. |

| Tethered means that the jailbreak needs to be reapplied every time you power down your iPhone . If you let the battery run to zero or restart your Iphone then you will need to reapply the jailbreak by connecting to your computer (tethering) and running Redsn0w again. |
