first of all.....
- this is not china mobile or clones.
- i just post this small solution so that if i forgot i can search here
- if can help this to others im Glad lol..

Solution...
- when this tablet is totally off..
- press the power switch together with the volume up and down
to enter in recovery mode.
- in few seconds you can see the Android system recovery utility
-which is...
reboot system now
Apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data / factory reset
wipe cache partition
download nb0 from memory card

so obviously select the wipe data / factory reset
using the volume down then press on/off switch to select..

then after that you can see the..

Confirm wipe of all data?
no
yes

to select yes is press the volume down then press the on off switch.

I tried but not enter to recovery mode but it enter to ftm mode, and i cant wipe the user data from there.
my phone is csl mi300

Boot modes of Spice MI 300 phone

Spice MI 300 can be booted in 5 different modes based what you intend to do with the phone apart from the power on.
(Clones are Vibo A688, Orange Boston, Gsmart G1305, Motorola XT502, Apanda A60, Excalibur, A1, A88, Commtiva Z71, Blaze , Videocon Zeus...)

Recovery Mode : Vol Up + Camera + Power
FTM Mode(bootloader) : Vol Up + Vol Down + Power
Download Mode : Vol Up + Hang Up(red) + Power
Fastboot Mode : Vol Down + Hang Up(red) + Power
Master Reset : Camera + Hang Up(red) + Power

I have a china made 7" tablet with android 4.0 - only button is the power button, in the pin hole is a button but when pressed it just kills power instantly but does not reset it.
I read online there were a set of jumpers under the battery inside.
Took it apart but have no idea what to jump to perform a reset. Cannot get the droid robot with red triangle to come up / bootloader. Even if I did , there is no volume paddle on this unit, only power so I would not know how to move up and down to select factory reset.
I can upload pics - Bought from store return sale with password lock on it and cannot figure out how to reset since only one button, power / well 2 the one inside the hole that says mic, but it does nothing that I can tell.

Oh yeah, brand name is Maylong M-270
