Thumbs up [solution] Enable BlackBerry Browser Without BIS or BES

If you get the message when you try to access the browser:

" Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service book Entries.
Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your device. "

There is a EASY SOLUTION.

(I got this method on bb.anworm.com)

Let's work...

Step 1 - Enable Legacy SB Restore mode

a) Go to Options > Advanced Options > Service Book

b) hold ALT and press S B E B

c) you will see the message Legacy SB Restore Enable.

Step 2 - Download Service Book into your BlackBerry phone (see atached video)?

a) Open BDM

b) Select Backup and Restore

c) Select "Advanced"

d) Select "Service Book"

e) Open backup file (.ipd) containing SB to load into BlackBerry

f) Clique on ">>" button.

Done

these are ipd files, one for gprs enaled only devices and the other for gprs and wifi enabled devices. same procedure as posted but afterwards you need to edit APN for your carrier, if apn needs proxy you'll need apps with proxy capability.
